As we witness the UK’s restrictions ease, ACM is proud to announce the full reopening of its campuses and student experience from September. There’s no hiding the fact that this past year has been tough on everyone. Especially students who, due to the pandemic, have not had the opportunity to fully engage in their studies - as their student life for the past year has partially been on pause.
ACM, as an institution pride themselves in their ‘Learning By Doing’ approach, and are excited to once again, offer its student experience in full. They are committed to providing real opportunities that turn a passion into a sustainable career - via their industry contacts - as well as their deep integrated relationship with Metropolis Studio, which works at all levels of the industry. ACM continued this pledge throughout the pandemic by providing digital festivals, masterclasses, Work From Home internships and job opportunities, Livestream performances, auditions, Enrichment Weeks, and more!
As an ACM student, there’s so much to look forward to! Attending gigs, performances, showcases, and auditions. As well as, participating in workshops, collaborating on-site, recording in ACM state-of-the-art studios and accessing Metropolis Studios. You will also be able to attend the largest industry events, both nationally and internationally, and finally, being able to network and connect with industry professionals.
ACM is also extremely excited to announce the launch of its new Guildford Games Academy, which will be opening this September. With studios like EA, Supermassive Games, Stellar Entertainment, Media Molecule, Hello Games, among many others calling Guildford home - has meant that the launch of this academy is incredibly important! Students studying at ACM’s Guildford Games Academy will be fully engulfed in the Games Industry throughout their studies. The same state-of-the-art facilities that are available to the Game Development students in London will be available in Guildford. Featuring high-end development PCs and industry-standard software such as Mayer, Unreal, and Unity installed for complete student use!
