About this Kane FM story
During my time at Kane FM, I have had a great experience, as I got to take part in a variety of activities. They ranged from using a Launchpad to create a house song, mixing using Virtual DJ, creating pre-recorded show with Pro Tools, and doing a live show in the studio.
I really enjoyed creating my own pre-recorded show as it was fun to have the opportunity to be creative, choosing my own tracks to put on it and speaking between each song. However my favourite was probably doing a live show. It was great to be able to reply to all the messages that people had sent in and be connected to everyone listening.
I would definitely recommend this work experience to anyone, because it has inspired me to become interested in the industry of radio which I wasn’t fully aware of before, and it has also provided me with a lot of transferable skills, as well as improving my confidence.
