About this Kane FM story
I came from Brooklands college to Kane FM to do my work experience and learn about the radio industry, which is something I am really interested in; media is one of the subjects I am currently studying at college. Having the chance to have this experience has been a great opportunity. I really enjoyed my time working at Kane FM even though the experience has been interrupted by the dreaded Corona virus. So far, I have learnt about how to use the equipment, create beats, and record tracks. Just being able to travel there on my own and work in a real radio station has given me a new sense of confidence. I can’t wait to be able to return soon and finish what I have started.
