An Upcoming exhibition at Zero Carbon Guildford is accepting submissions. This is an amazing opportunity for local emerging artists working in any medium to share their work with a physical audience.
Artist and Filmmaker, Grace Saint, will be curating the show
(Application fee for artists is £1 donation to Zero Carbon Guilford)
“ZERO is a community space set up to drive a community-led climate action plan. Promoting education and solutions for climate mitigation and adaptation, we’re bringing together the work happening locally to help the borough adapt to a changing planet.”
In keeping with Zero Carbon Guildford’s mission, the exhibition will be about the environment. Grace is looking for works that are nature/eco/environment themed and/or works that are made with sustainable practices. All mediums will be accepted, from pottery to performance to film to jewellery.
Most gallery’s take a 50% commission on work sold through them, however, Zero are only asking for 20% which will go directly into the running of the charity.
The exhibition is upstairs at ZERO in the centre of Guildford and is free entry. The private view will also feature live music from our very own DJ’s: Alindamix from 7-8PM, followed by Merlin from 8-9PM.
