About this Kane FM story
Freewheelers is one of 187 charities, social enterprises and voluntary groups to be awarded The Queens Award for Voluntary Service in 2017. The company works with disabled and non disabled artists and works in theatre, film, music and dance. Their performances not only entertain audiences but also challenge perceptions.
They are based in Leatherhead and have been running for 25 years and are assisted by nearly 100 volunteers.
