Our next guest is no exception, the wonderful Mr BC is coming into the FYH hot seat this Sunday, between 11:00 and 13:00, to unleash audio delights, set your ears on fire (that might be a slight exaggeration) and make your toes tap.
Mr BC has rocketed through 2017 following an impressive trajectory with EP Katla on Logical Record and the acid sounds of Be Seeing You on Tunnly.
Before the show we asked Mr BC a few questions to see what makes him tick.
Q. You have already completed major remixes for Nein, Roam and Tici Taci, what other projects have you in the pipeline?
I contributed a remix to Wild Women and the Savages album which is just out now on Bandcamp. In terms of forthcoming remixes, I’ve done one for enigmatic duo Quantal, due to come out on Sub:sonic and another for Otheo on his own Regith label. I also have a track coming out on Regith soon, with remixes from The Longchamps, K-Effect and Otheo. Plus another collaboration track I did with L. Longchamps coming out in September on Nein. Remixes from Freudenthal, Man2.0 and Modulaire on that one. And another release planned some time on Sub:sonic. Remixes from Quantal and Dirt Track (which is included in the mix).

Q. Saturday night or Sunday Morning?
Saturday night. Although, obviously, Sunday morning has better radio shows … (he’s good)
Q. Which festivals tickle your fancy this year? If you had to pick one which one would it be?
I’ve been to FN6 for the past 4 years or so but missing it this year, line-up not the best it’s been. That’s definitely my favourite though and I’ll go back for sure - the bigger ones don’t appeal. Obviously would love to get to Convenanza and Alfresco at some point too. Great music and great people.
Q. Ketchup or brown sauce?
Controversially, I’ve never liked either. (what?)
