About this Kane FM story
I came to Kane because I really like music and to build up my social skills and confidence, also to gain an Arts Award so that I have something else to put on my CV.
I have made a pre-record programme; learnt some mixing; made a tune on the Launch pad and been involved with a live show. I have met new people and improved on my social skills; I have also learnt a lot more about different music genres. I have been coming once a week on a schools programme and will finish in June when I complete school. In September I am going to college to a carpentry course, coming to Kane helped me with that process and has given me more confidence to enable me to take the next step.
The experience has been good and I would 100% recommend Kane FM Youth Project to other young people.
