We are launching a brand new, advertising prospectus to incorporate all local businesses to help promote their brand, at affordable prices.

We are a community “not for profit” radio station, run by the people, for the people and are committed to promoting radio advertising within a sensible and realistic budget for all local businesses. We have been broadcasting since the 90’s, originally as a pirate radio station and were granted a full broadcasting license from Ofcom in 2011 and since then, have gone from strength to strength.

We currently have over 60 DJ’s on the station offering their own genre of music from soul, funk, boogie, reggae, hip hop, electro, jazz, RnB, DnB to all kinds of House Music. With such a diverse genre of music, we attract a larger and wider audience. We do not have a playlist (all shows are DJ Selected) and we pride ourselves in giving the very best in underground music. 

OUR ADVERTISING OPTIONS

Tier 1 – Sponsor a DJ/radio show
You can sponsor any radio show, for the DJ of your choice, from as little as £20 per
show. For that nominal price, you will receive a short, pre-recorded jingle, played at
the beginning and end of each show and the DJ of your choice will have full
advantage to discuss your business during the show and promote as necessary. If
you are a record label or producer, this can be a great opportunity for you! If you
have a favourite DJ on the station, then this is a great choice for you at a minimal
cost. We also can direct you to the best show for your customer target audience and
you can of course sponsor any show on the station and can also sponsor multiple
shows. Your sponsorship fee will also include a short editorial and one photo/graphic
entry on our “sponsors” page on the Kane FM website

Tier 2 – Promotion on our website
For our second option we can advertise your business on our Kanefm.com website
for as little as £60pcm. We will produce an editorial with two photos/graphics, based
on your wording which we can create or edit accordingly for the best promotional
material for your business and with permanent links to your website and media
outlets. Our website received over six million hits worldwide last year and this is a
great way to spread the word both nationally and internationally.

Tier 3 – Full advertising promotion
The third option is a full advertising promotion, which will run a 30 second radio
advertising campaign, broadcasting every two hours from 07.00am-11.00pm every
day, for seven days a week. This is equal to nine adverts per day. In addition to the
radio advert, we will also run a full editorial with up to four photos/graphics on the
“advertisers” page on our Kane FM website with links to your website and media
outlets.

We can provide the script and the advertisement for an additional £85 based on your
description of your business and our editing to achieve maximum results. The prices
for our full advertising promotion, starts from as little as £250pcm.

We are a “not for profit” radio station and so are able to keep our costs to a minimum
to help promote your business within our local area and beyond and in return all
funds raised by our sponsorship and advertising go directly back into the running
costs of this great radio station and to help fund our award winning “Mindwaves”
programmes for young people. So by investing your money into our advertising
schemes at Kane FM, not only are you promoting your business…but you are also
helping to support your local radio station and our community.
