Super Yogi’s Loni Lincoln, a Yoga teacher was in the studio on the 20th February to talk about Super Yogi and its benefits. Super Yogi have a mission which is “too to empower children to make positive choices for their own emotional and physical well-being. Our ambition is that every child around the world, regardless of age, race, religion or location, has access to tools to achieve greatness, both emotionally and physically.” On the show Mary interviews Loni who discusses who owns her studio and teaches yoga, Loni talks about her spirituality and that her family practice Buddhism. Somebody introduced her to yoga and there was no turning back from there.

“Its mind uniting with body, it gives you time to breathe and increases self awareness. You give yourself time to learn and exercise.”‘ You can go to classes at Red Hot Yoga here in Guildford and it’s not just for younger people, “..anyone can do yoga” Loni claims. Jenniann alias Mother Hen was also part of the show talking about how she’s practiced yoga and meditation for 40+ years , ” the benefits of yoga are immense” Mother Hen states. Yoga can really help with not only your mind but health too, it’s a powerful tool and can really benefit weekly day to day life in such a positive way.

Loni has just launched some cards for children but they could equally be used for adults which can also be found on the website. Loni also makes music and has incorporated her talents on a spiritual level linked with some yoga classes. She’s travelled the world playing different events from festivals to smaller gigs. She claims her guitar to be “an extension of my body and I love being able to give music to others”. It’s amazing how the power of music can be used in so many way including yoga and make such a difference to adults and children’s well being.
