Macie at Kane FM

About this Kane FM story

I started my time at Kane FM a couple months back now to work my way towards and Arts Award and have done various different activities along the way. My favorite one would have to be the mixing as this was already an interest for me; however I did my own pre-record show and learnt how to use the launch pad. Additionally I got the opportunity to sit in on a live show and I’m in the process of moving on to do my Bronze award where I am learning about animation. All the above have been lots of fun and I have loved every minute of it.

All the people here have made me feel very welcome and were patient enough to keep explaining and showing me things until I fully understood. This was important to me as I’m not a particularly confident person around new faces and I doesn’t take much to get me in a fluster, however I felt completely comfortable here and I wasn’t afraid to ask questions. It has definitely boosted my self confidence being here and has given me some clearer aspirations for my future as after my time here is finished, radio is looking like an option for to me to explore now, due to the kindness and dedication of the people here.
