MindWaves Award Win

We are delighted to announce that Kane FM’s MindWaves project has won a Mayor’s Award for Access.

This year’s Mayor’s Award for Access took place on Tuesday 15th October at the Guildford Baptist Church, Millmead. Founder of MindWaves, Jenniann Davies accepted the award from the the Mayor of Guildford, Cllr Sallie Barker MBE, on behalf of the project.

Jenniann Davies said, “Thank you so much for this award and I’m grateful for the nomination. We have worked with well over 500 young people over the years. People with invisible disabilities are often over looked. We work with those with ASD, ADHD and other diagnosis or mental health challenges that hinder learning and life chances. And my current wish is that we manage to get more funding so we can continue with this work.”

Thank you once again to Guildford Borough Council for this award. If you would like to support the Kane FM MindWaves project, please click here.
