About this Kane FM story
I am ever so grateful for being given the opportunity to work with Kane FM. Music is a real passion of mine and a hobby I had abandoned it for a while. This project gave me chance to find joy in it again. I was able to do some mixing which I really enjoyed as I was able to blend two songs that I really liked listening to together, as well as being able to modify the pitch and speed of them all. I also got to do a pre-recording show, which was exciting as I had never been able to experience something of the likes of this before, with me being to talk and crack jokes in between songs being my favourite part.
The most education part for me was being able to learn about the radio station itself, from its pirate beginnings to reaching out to the Guildford community through various events and means, as well as giving many opportunities for all who are in need, whether it be aspiring artists or someone out of work. It was an experience that I will not forget and recommend to all who enjoy music.
