About this Kane FM story
On my first day at Kane FM I was not sure what to expect as I have not had any experience like this before hand and I had no knowledge of radio. The Kane staff were very helpful when explaining the tasks I would be doing during my placement.
Some of these tasks included learning how to use a launchpad, learning to mix tracks and do a prerecorded show. I also was able to take part in a live show. In the live show I was not confident in what do do but after repeating the task given I was able to do it successfully. My favorite part was learning to mix tracks
I have enjoyed the placement because it was a new experience and I was able to gain an understanding of how a community radio station works. I would recommend this placement to others.
