About this Kane FM story
I decided to come to Kane FM because I was at a point where I did not have a way to get work experience and references on my CV, during my first few weeks here I started working on my Arts Award.
Kane FM has allowed me to learn about things I may have never interacted with other wise. The best thing is, even if choose a different career path, the confidence building and transferable skills I have learnt during the Kane project will be carried with me to a new career. I have learnt to use many DJ technologies such as Launch Pads and Mixers. The Kane project is great as it has been flexible with my life commitments and allowed me to fit it around my schedule.
It has been a positive experience for me and a number of other young people I have met and I would fully recommend it to any young person who’s interested in music, needs experience or just wants a fun way to learn new skill sets.
