This month Whirlwind D and Specifik delve deep into Boston hip hop history tracing the development of the culture in Boston as well as its impact worldwide. We begin by focusing on early legends such as Skippy White, Rusty P, Michael Jonzun and Kevin Fleetwood before moving into the mid 80s with crews like TDS, RSO and Top Choice to name a few. We also spend some time on perhaps Boston’s most famous exports: the late great Guru and Ed OG.
