About this Kane FM story
A team of two rowers, Darryl Thole and Sean Geiser, called TWO-INNA-ROW, will be rowing 3000 miles unassisted across the Atlantic Ocean this December as part of the Talisker Whisky Atlantic Challenge. This row is said to be the worlds toughest, with competitors putting their mind and body to extreme tests, battling sleep deprivation, hunger, hallucinations and natures unpredictable elements.
The true force propelling the boat forward this time for TWO-INNA-ROW is Children battling Cancer. The boat will be covered in multicoloured painted handprints, of children currently undergoing cancer treatment. In each of these handprints, one may feel the incredible light and vibrancy of the human spirit, in the darkest times. We may never face a challenge as difficult as theirs, but we can recognise and champion each of these children as the hero’s that they are.

Darryl and Sean are going the extra mile to raise money and awareness for the charities closest to their hearts. Sponsorship is essential in getting the team to the start line, by which point all that’s left to do is row, one stroke at a time. The money will go towards vital equipment and supplies to keep the pair safe as they face their toughest challenge yet. More people have ventured to space, or climbed Everest, than have rowed the Atlantic so your donation, however small, will help ensure that they have the best chance possible to complete the row and raise awareness and money for the following charities whilst doing so:
Darryl and Sean are leaving La Gomera in the Canary Islands and after rowing 24 hours a day, for roughly 60 days, will finish in Antigua.

Something that few people will ever get the opportunity to do. Just two people who have decided to take on the world’s 2nd largest ocean to help try and do their bit for children with cancer.“
