About this Kane FM story
In the beginning I was nervous about this work experience because I have never done any previous work with a radio station and my knowledge in the felid is limited. But when I first came here all my fears went away as the people at Kane FM were very helpful in helping me understand the tasks that I would have to do during my work placement.
Some of these tasks consisted of mixing music, making a pre-recorded and even assisting in a live radio show. The more tasks I did, the more I understood the work I was doing and by the end of my placement I came to the conclusion that I enjoyed working at Kane FM more than I thought I would. As a Media student I believe this experience has been very helpful to me as it’s given me a better understanding of the industry and what line of work I wish to go into in the future.
