About this Kane FM story
Decade, Dance 2 and Kane FM will roll out skateboarding competition #SkateJam2017 at Stoke Park on Sunday, August 13 at midday.
Kane FM will be bringing live music from Jazz T, Tone Def and Miracle, among other #kaneFMdjs.
There will, of course, be prizes, Burritos and plenty of water for participants. Last year there were over 50 competitors from Surrey, Hampshire and beyond.
And just as last year, good weather is forecast, so spectators get there early to secure a good spot.
For competitors, entry is free, so just come with your board and plenty of energy.
This is the third year Skate Jam is happenning, courtesy of Decade, Dance 2 and Kane FM.
Decade, an independent skate shop, opened in 2011, and were integral to the design and planning of the skatepark where the event takes place.
Dance 2 provide expertise in sound, lighting and DJ equipment in Guildford, Brighton and everywhere else.
Just as vital as Decade and Dance 2, Kane FM were fundamental to this community outreach venture.
