Trew Fields is the UK’s first holistic health and cancer awareness festival. This three-day long festival is a movement of change and hope that aims to bring an uplifting feel to the cancer narrative and illness. The main aim is to create a more progressive and hope-filled, fun-packed event around illness, prevention and integrative medicine to take control over your own body and health. It also aims to re-frame the mainstream narrative surrounding illness into one of proactivity. Whether you’re curiously dipping your toes in the holistic health world or are a seasoned explorer you will be welcomed with open arms.
The festival starts on Friday 5th July with a big welcoming three course sharing feast prepared by Michelin star chefs, followed by live music acts from 19:00 to 1:00. The main part of the festival takes place on Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th July with talks and panels taking place from 10:00 to 18:00. These workshops will include international doctors, inspirational talks from stage four cancer survivors, meditation and yoga. Some of the topics discussed contain taboo topics, such as medicinal cannabis, in a way to empower people. Live music will continue on Saturday 6th July from 16:00 to 1:00.
The festival welcomes people of all ages, including children as a way to involve the next generation in holistic health. To make it more child friend this year there will be an area just for kids including activities such as kids yoga and arts & crafts workshops. Festival-friendly pets are welcome at Trew Fields.
Trew Fields offers a range of different workshops which you can move in between as well as come and go when you wish. Tickets provide unlimited entry and camping to Trew Fields 2019 with a variety of talks, workshops, music, yoga and classes across both the day and the evening, but you can choose to attend during the day and not the evening. There will also be a massage and relaxation area for a chosen donation. It is taking place just 20 minutes from Guildford at Thatched House Farm, Dunsfold Road, Dunsfold, Surrey, GU8 4BW. There will be plenty of parking.
