About this Kane FM story
On 12 December 2022 the TWO-INNA-ROW team, Darryl & Sean, will embark on their challenge of a lifetime.
Darryl Thole and his crew member Sean Geiser will be rowing 3000 miles over the Atlantic ocean as part of ‘The Talisker Whiskey Atlantic Challenge’,to raise money for Children with Cancer UK. The team will be rowing between La Gomera, Canary Islands and Antigua.
As well as the leading national charity - Children with Cancer UK - The TWO-INNA-ROW team has also chosen to support 2 other charities. ‘The Cancer Society of The Bahamas’, and ‘The Kids Cancer Foundation’.
The challenge will involve 2 hours rowing, 2 hours rest 24 hours a day, as well as dealing with over 20ft waves on their journey.
They have chosen a boat that will keep them the safest on this tough journey. Which will be their home for what they hope will be a sub-50 day crossing.
