Next Thursday’s World Beats show features an exclusive guest mix from Brussels based DJ & Producer Rafael Aragon.
Rafael first came to our attention with his sensational remix of Muito Kaballa’s track Mamari on Rebel Up Records back in April. A powerful reinterpretation which melds dub & digital afro styles beautifully with its hypnotic tribal rhythm.
Releasing on various imprints wordwide for more than ten years, and touring clubs & festivals all around Europe, South America and North Africa, Rafael has made quite a name for himself as a versatile and talented Producer, Remixer, DJ and Live Act.
He has a brand new EP out on 28th May on Cosmovision Records with long-term collaborator Kaygee. The EP’s called Metamine and the mix Rafael’s prepared for us features music from this, and his impressive back-catalogue.
